The word: ‘Annunaki’ whose top god was called ‘Anu’ -does not appear in the Bible. And it’s a controversial subject.
However, according to Zechariah Sitchin, he says the ancient Sumerian (Babylonia) tablets call the Annunaki aliens; & he claims that: Annu-naki translated means: "Prince of the Royal (genetic) Seed" *
Sitchin says: The Sumerian records claim the Annunaki were aliens who genetically created Homo Sapiens (humanoids) as slaves hundreds of thousands of yrs. ago- these humanoids would not be Adam’s race but hybrids – a mix of man & angel.
What the Bible appears to refer to as the Annunaki are the ‘sons of God’ (Gen.6; & Job 38) who left heaven. Called ‘gods’ & worshiped by Cains offspring &…- before the Flood & started up again with Nimrod [Mardak, Tammaz] after the Flood, Gen.10:8-19; chp.11 cp Micah 5:6.). **

["sons of God" are referred to as angels- called the Watchers in the book of Enoch (this book is not in the Bible), Enoch says that 200 of them came down and mixed with the daughters of Adam and begat giants. In the Bible, Jude quotes directly from this book of Enoch, Jude 1:14,15. Also, there were two different "Enochs" one was the son of the ungodly Cain (Gen.4:17,18); the other (godly) Enoch was of Seths line, the son of Jared, Gen.5:19. Some have erred not making this distinction]
Apostle Peter says: "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell (Gk. Tartarus), and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment" 2 Peter 2:4. **
Jude says:"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." Jude 1:6. **
Something did go on back then but "The secret things belong to the Lord our God…" Deut.29:29. **
These "gods" & "giants" are mention in over 500 ancient pagan Legends around the world, according to Graham Hancock ****; and by others who have done extensive research on these subjects… Sitchin’s is just one of these.

The Annunaki were a group of Sumerian/Akkadian/Babylonian gods.
It translates as something to the effect of ‘those of royal blood’ or ‘princely offspring’
In that sense, it is comparable to the Nephilim in the Biblical tradition.
Anunnaki was a collective term for deities in general, especially those who were not otherwise named.
It has nothing to do with aliens. That’s just … stupid, like someone watching the X-files and thinking its real.

That word is not present in The Bible, nor does it mention any creatures "who came to earth around 6000 yrs. ago".
Perhaps you are speaking of the "sons of God" in Genesis chapter 6.
* it does not say that they "came to Earth", but intimates that they were already here (they are not said to have traveled any distance or to be from another place)
* overwhelmingly the term "sons of God" is used in The Bible to refer to humans, but rarely may refer to angels rather than humans

Being mentioned only in the Babylonian creation myth, Enuma Elish, they don’t appear in the Bible at all. The name in Sumerian means "royal descendants". The Nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6 may or may not refer to these mythical figures. The term "sons of heaven" is simply not explained.

Well….initially they came to earth to mine for gold and once they came across the humans that inhabited the land they genetically altered them to use them as slaves to mine gold and be regarded as Gods. most of these biblical stories came from the time of Sumer and all history of them was written on tablets or word of mouth. since there advancement in technology was supreme to anything ever seen at that time the natives feared them and were basically treated as slaves. they actually were here around 450,000 years ago looking for gold which was extremely important for their culture and their longevity as a species. in the bible there is a verse from genesis chapter 6 verse 4 i believe it went "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they; bare children unto them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
the top god of the Annunaki is Anu, followed by his daughter and son (Enki and Enlil) as well as Marduk and Innana(aka Ishtar)

The Annunaki produced the "Anakim" giants in the Bible. And they were not ‘aliens’ but angels who gave up their heavenly home and took daughters of Adams race and genetically made the giants & what what nots, also called, heroes/hybrids/demigods. They called them their created man/offspring. They boasted that they made man- but it was not Adam- who the LORD God had created.
And these angels taught mankind all kinds of evil sciences and evils ways and the Lord sent the flood, Gen.6:1-7.
Annunaki means: Prince of the Royal Seed – Their mixed Royal Bloodline.
In Egypt, as other places around the world you see pictures of giants, and half human and half animal demigods, etc.
But we are to be looking to Christ Jesus and heavenly things and not getting to carried away in obscured ancient history.
Also, consider all the reports of UFOs and alien abduction over the past 60 yrs. or so – and the abducted women who were secretly taken say that egg cells were taken from them and such. This sounds pretty wild- but it is something to consider, in that, Jesus said that it would be as it were in the days of Noah just before He returns.
